KSP investigating fatal train collision in Grayson Co.

Kentucky State Police Post 4 is investigating a train collision in Grayson County that left a 62-year-old man dead.

Carl Roof was eastbound Saturday morning in a 2000 Chevy Tahoe when he was struck by a southbound train in Big Clifty, according to a news release.

The Grayson County Coroner's Office pronounced Roof dead at the scene, police said. A juvenile passenger was airlifted to Kosair Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
