LaRue County residents are no longer facing bans on burning.
Judge-Executive Tommy Turner and Hodgenville Mayor Terry Cruse signed executive orders Wednesday, nullifying previous burn bans issued Oct. 6 because of extremely dry conditions as a means of combating fires.
Rain moved through the region briefly this week, resulting in a subsiding of dry weather.
The bans in LaRue County followed bans issued in Hardin County as dry temperatures have led to a series of grass fires.
