The new LaRue County Library Director is no stranger to the community.
Dana Jolly, who drove the bookmobile for nine years, is overseeing day-to-day operations and leading a staff of seven. Jolly was appointed interim director in September after the resignation of Niki Carter. She assumed her new title Nov. 1.
One of her first duties was to hire and train a new bookmobile driver. Virginia Napier has taken over the route, delivering books and library programs to preschools, daycares and homes across the county.
