A Louisville law firm in conjunction with another firm in Paducah is hosting a town meeting Friday in West Point to discuss legal claims related to the Oct. 29 train derailment.

According to Jones Ward law office in Louisville, the meeting is open to all West Point area residents, business owners and local officials.

The meeting is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Music Ranch USA at 409 South St.

The Louisville law firm filed a class action lawsuit last week in Hardin Circuit Court on behalf of all those affected by the Paducah & Louisville Railway train derailment near the Hardin-Jefferson county line.
