What started 25 years ago is still helping students seeking a career in the medical field thanks to the Let Christmas Shine program by the Hardin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Along the way, dozens of students have been awarded thousands of dollars in scholarship money that comes from this program. All proceeds go directly to scholarships.
“We’ve been able to give a lot of scholarships over the years,” said Mary Lou Givan, historian for the auxiliary.
