Hardin County Community Action will begin accepting applications Tuesday for the subsidy portion of the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program that provides heating assistance to eligible households.
The cost of energy to heat homes leaves some households unable to fully meet heating bills or purchase sufficient bulk fuel to keep their families safe and warm. In order for a household to be considered for LIHEAP subsidy, a completed application is necessary.
