Two years ago, Elizabethtown voters were presented a ballot of 19 candidates for City Council. Motivated by controversial topics including city classification, the 2 percent prepared food tax and the Elizabethtown Sports Park, the large field of qualified individuals with wide-ranging experience and equally broad viewpoints campaigned hard for the six seats available on council.
