Man charged with 20 counts of distributing child porn

A Grayson County man faces child pornography charges after state police say a search uncovered sexually explicit photos of children.

Michael E. Alcorn, 48, was arrested Wednesday at his Orchard Street residence in Leitchfield after police executed a search warrant. He is charged with 20 counts of distribution of a matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

The charges stem from a tip provided by the Knox County, Tenn., sheriff’s office, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police Post 4.

Alcorn is lodged at the Grayson County Detention Center. According to the jail’s online records, bond has not been set.
