The ice is gone, the debris it generated is disappearing, the time has changed and so has the weather. It would be easy, maybe even human nature, to just put behind us the ice storm that knocked out power to thousands of residences and businesses in this county and throughout Western Kentucky, crippled local water systems, closed schools and sent hundreds scurrying to find shelter and food.
