Mary Judith ‘Judy’ Lusk

Mary Judith “Judy” Lusk, 68, of Vine Grove, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.

Judy was born June 14, 1943, in Flaherty to the late Jim and Lila Ray Whelan.

Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister. She was loved by all who knew her, and they will cherish many wonderful memories.

She was a faithful member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church for many years. She was also the president and CFO of the Lusk Group.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde Whelan, Cliff Whelan and Merle Whelan.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Harry Lee Lusk; two sisters, Laverne Whelan and Phyllis Hicks; five children, Jeff (Darlene) Lusk, Mike (Rosalind) Lusk, Kevin (Debbie) Lusk, Leigh Ann Lusk (Gary) and Scott (Robin) Lusk; 12 grandchildren, Craig (Brandi) Lusk, Chris Lusk, Michele Lusk, Elena Lusk, Emily Lusk, Elizabeth Lusk, Emma Lusk, James Lusk, Kristen Lusk, Macy Alexander, Zeke Alexander and Hannah Lusk; and one great-granddaughter, Payton Lusk.

The funeral was Thursday, Feb. 23, at St. Martin of Tours Church in Flaherty with burial in the church cemetery.

Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg handled arrangements.
