WONDERFUL LADY. Our community was saddened to learn of the death of a wonderful lady, Arvadis Barnes. She has been a part of the community for as long as I can remember. She was very active in her church and many others over the years. She and her family used to have a gospel singing group, "The Barnes Family," that went around everywhere and sang gospel songs. She also participated in vacation bible school, Sunday school classes, revivals and just about anything where she was needed. She also was a neighbor to my mom f
