I just read a letter in the May 1, 2008, issue by Sonya Hill with reference to Mr. Alvin Garrison and feel compelled to respond before someone starts a witch hunt for the scalp of a good man. He admits to poor judgment and is aware of the negative example which he set for both his students and the teachers within John Hardin High School. Up to this point, Mr. Garrison has been proven to be a consistently highly motivated, competent educator with a stellar record within the Hardin County Schools System.
