The Radcliff campus of McKendree University has new leadership.

Christian Blome is the new executive director of the McKendree University campuses in Radcliff and Louisville. Darrel Hardt, the former executive director, now is director of the university’s doctoral program at the campus in Lebanon, Ill.

Blome previously served as director of admissions at Vincennes University in Vincennes, Ind.

Blome said in a McKendree news release that it was a “blessing” to join the university.

“I am excited about the future of the Kentucky campuses and continuing the tradition of providing a quality educational experience to outstanding students,” he said.

Blome is a doctoral candidate in educational leadership and higher education administration at Indiana State University. He has a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Southern Indiana and a master’s degree in public service administration from the University of Evansville.

Joseph Cipfl, who oversees operation of McKendree’s Kentucky campuses, said Blome is a good addition to the university.

“Christian Blome brings extensive knowledge, significant experience and a record of success to McKendree University,” Cipfl said.
