McKinney - Merrifield Lonnie Edwin and Bettye Jean McKinney of Leitchfield announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sheri Dawn, to Richard Scott Merrifield, son of Rick and Joann Merrifield of Big Clifty. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Lonnie and Imogene McKinney of Leitchfield and the late Ray and Ruby Stewart. A graduate of Grayson County High School and Centre College, she is a principal with Cloverport Independent School District. The prospective groom is the grandson of Robert and Noi Hogan of Sonora and the late Robert and Hazel Merrifield. A graduate of Grayson County High School, he is employed at Shaw Creek Contracting. The wedding is at 3 p.m. CDT June 7, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Leitchfield with a reception to follow in the family life center.
