Three Hardin County men were arraigned Tuesday on marijuana trafficking charges that stem from an Elizabethtown child abuse investigation.

Terry L. Adams Jr., 24, Donovan M. Hensley, 19, and Anthony D. Eiland, 19, each were indicted last Thursday on charges of complicity to traffic in marijuana more than 8 ounces but less than 5 pounds and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eiland also was indicted for receiving stolen property more than $500 but less than $10,000.

All three defendants pleaded not guilty.

The charges came after Elizabethtown Police responded to a complaint about a marijuana odor coming from a Plum Creek Court apartment. When officers arrived, police said they found an injured 18-month-old in addition to a significant amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Adams and the toddler’s mother, Christina M. Morgan, 19, were indicted in January on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment and endangering the welfare of a minor.
