A Radcliff man reported missing Monday was found two days later when a Kansas sheriff’s deputy stopped his vehicle.

Patrick Neal, 29, was last seen at 10:30 a.m. Monday at his residence. According to Radcliff Police Department, his family reported him missing and feared he might harm himself.

Neal is a suspect in a police investigation according to an RPD news release. Spokesman Bryce Shumate declined to comment on the case in which Neal is considered a suspect.

According to Shumate, a Geary County, Kan., sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop at 2 p.m. Wednesday and confirmed Neal was the driver.

Shumate said he did not know why the vehicle was stopped or why Neal was in Kansas.

“He is in good condition and of sound mind,” he said.

As of Thursday afternoon, Neal had not returned to Kentucky, Shumate said.

Neal is not being held in a Kansas jail, he said, as the investigation is ongoing and no arrest warrants have been issued.
