More than 10 hours of deliberation was insufficient for jurors to reach a consensus in the murder case of Radcliff resident Jarrod Davis.
A mistrial was declared just after 11 p.m. Friday night after the jury hung on the charge of murder against Davis in the death of his 1-month old son, Ja’Vion Davis, earlier this year. The jury did find Davis not guilty on the count of first-degree criminal abuse.
Prosecutor Teresa Logsdon was unhappy with the decision but pledged to forge on with the case.
