The Fort Knox Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America held its monthly meeting Oct. 17 at the MOAA Clubhouse at Fort Knox. The meeting had a Halloween theme and many members came in costume.
The primary purpose of the meeting was the installation of new president retired Lt. Col. John Dinnell and his staff. Retired Master Sgt. Terry Tucker, former Armor Center commander, administered the oath of office and wished the chapter continued success under the new leadership. Lt. Col. Dinnell thanked the membership for its confidence and gave a recap on the purpose of MOAA and the way the chapter will support those objectives.
The Chapter’s next meeting is at 6 p.m. Nov. 14 at the clubhouse in Building 2377 at Fort Knox. Membership is open to officers and former officers of all services. For information, call Larry Herzog, 351-6433, or call the chapter office, (502) 626-4090.
