The Fort Knox Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) has a new commander, retired Lt. Col. Toby Martinez of Elizabethtown. Elected at the June membership meeting, Martinez was installed on July 12 at the MOWW Region II Installation Banquet at the Pendennis Club in Louisville. He was administered the oath by Lt. Gen. R.L. “Sam” Wetzel, soon to be the new MOWW National Commander. Commander Martinez presided over his first membership meeting on July 19 at the home of chapter member retired Col. Dale and Mary Stewart.
