Murder charges pending in store owner’s shooting

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Two men considered “persons of interest” in Monday’s killing of Now Fashions owner Charles Dole are in a Knoxville jail on an auto theft charge and Radcliff investigators say the men soon will be charged with murder and robbery.

Jermaine Kirkland, 20, surrendered to Knoxville police Wednesday evening just as mourners held a vigil for Dole in his North Wilson Road clothing store.
