Murphy speaks at Radcliff Rotary Club meeting

Guest speaker at a recent Radcliff Rotary Club meeting was Jennifer Murphy of the Advocacy and Support Center. The ASC is a combined rape crisis center and childrens’ advocacy center serving an eight-county area. Located in Elizabethtown, the center is prepared to deal with all aspects of victims’ abuse experience. Funded by state and federal grants and community donations, services are provided at no cost. Its annual fundraiser, Via Colori on the Courthouse Square in Elizabethtown, a street painting festival featuring more than 50 artists, live entertainment, food, car show and more is Sept. 8. The Radcliff Rotary Club also presented a check for $500 to Buzz High of Saunders Springs Nature Preserve toward the Vince Kieta Visitors’ Center project. Kieta was a longtime member of the Raccliff Rotary Club, past president and Paul Harris Fellow.
