Chapter 1050 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees met April 4 at Elizabethtown’s Nolin RECC Building. The guest speaker was former congressman Ron Lewis, who shared information about the life and responsibility of a congressman. He said that he had been privileged to serve his constituents in the second district, and he continues to serve his friends and community when given the opportunity. The Service Center, formerly known as the Fort Knox NARFE Service Center, serving Fort Knox and the Heartland of Kentucky has relocated to 411 Ring Road. It is open from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the NARFE chapter meeting on the first Monday of each month. For information and assistance, call Sam Alexander 769-1264.
The next NARFE Chapter 1050 meeting is at 11 a.m., May 2 with a potluck at the NOLIN RECC Building in Elizabethtown. All active and retired federal employees are invited.
