On his cell phone there is one picture, a destination of sorts.
It is Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. That’s where Nathan Adcock hopes to call home this year, and many years to come.
The 2006 North Hardin High School graduate begins his quest to make it to the major leagues next week. He is scheduled to leave today for Surprise, Ariz., the spring training home of the Kansas City Royals.
In five years as a professional player, the 6-foot-5, 225-pound right-hander with a calm demeanor and a friendly smile is with his third professional organization.
