The national president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW will spend part of Monday in Vine Grove.
Cortina Barnes will speak at VFW Post 10281 on Briggs Lane in Vine Grove, take part in a brunch and visit Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central as part of her stay, said Connie Burke of the Post 10281 Ladies Auxiliary.
“It’s a big deal for us,’’ Burke said.
She said this is the second visit by a national VFW president in the last few years to Vine Grove.
