Local recognition for leadership spread nationwide for one Elizabethtown High School student.
Senior Arsh Haque was named male National Youth Leader of the Year at a National Council on Youth Leadership conference in October.
Haque originally was named the local male youth leader from the Lincoln Trail Youth Leadership Salute, a local NCYL affiliate program. Mallory Chaney of Central Hardin High School was named the local female leader.
