New Year's fireworks show moves venues

Elizabethtown has moved its New Year’s fireworks celebration from the Elizabethtown Police Department to the Hardin County Justice Center.

Events Coordinator Sarah Vaughn said the move was made as a safety precaution for the fireworks company because it requested more space. Vaughn said the new venue also will provide a better vantage point to see the show in downtown.
