Newspaper changes beginning Thursday

By The Staff

There will be a few differences in The News-Enterprise delivered to your home Thursday or purchased from a vendor or newspaper rack.

All local news and information, except sports, will be in the first section of the newspaper. The Heartland page with state, regional and local information will be moved to Page A2. There no longer will be a separate Heartland Section Monday-Friday. On Sunday, a new weekly Faces and Places section will debut. National and international news also will continue to be included daily in the A Section of the newspaper.

Neighbors and death notices also will move to the front of the newspaper Monday-Friday as The News-Enterprise continues to emphasize local news of interest to readers in this community and to make it convenient for readers to locate information about their communities.

Obituaries will continue to be listed on the bottom of page A1 but details will be published every day on A4. Type fonts and sizes will not change. The weekly NASCAR page published in the Sports Section on Wednesday will be moved to Thursday’s newspaper. Comics, the television schedule and puzzles will move to the classified ad section.
