JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– Brandon Deaderick wasn’t out of job long. And now he gets to play in a far warmer climate.
One day after being cut by the New England Patriots, the former Elizabethtown High School and University of Alabama star defensive lineman was claimed off the waiver wire Tuesday by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
To make room for the 6-foot-4, 305-pound Deaderick, the Jaguars waived rookie receiver Cole McKenzie on Tuesday.
