Trojan Band takes title for second consecutive year

North Hardin High School's marching band won the Bands of America regional championship Saturday at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville.

It was the second straight year the Trojans won the event.

North Hardin's performance in the finals won top honors from the judges for the outstanding music performance and outstanding general effect. Earlier in the day during the preliminary round, North Hardin had the best score in Class AA and was honored for having the outstanding music performance, visual performance and general effect.

Central Hardin also advanced to the finals based on its top 10 performance in the prelims. Central finished eighth overall.
