The Northern Hardin County Democratic Woman’s Club held its monthly meeting Nov. 22. The featured speaker was Radcliff Mayor–Elect J.J. Duvall. Duvall spoke of his plans for the next term of office as mayor.
The club elected new officers for 2011. They are: President Beverly Rickey; First Vice President Maria Batistoni; Second Vice President Sherry Barnes; Third Vice President Nancy Chancellor-Cox; Secretary Susan Dyer; Treasurer Carolyn Shelman; and Auditor Portia Petties.
Charlene Easter was selected as the Democratic Woman of the Month. She received a certificate for her work in the community and Democratic Party from Club President JoAnn Winkenhofer. The presentation of the annual Tangie Crusott Award will be at the Installation of Officers.
The Installation of 2011 officers is Dec. 27 at the regular meeting at Colvin Community Center in Radcliff. A catered banquet by Wink’s Smokehouse is $11.95 per ticket and reservations will be taken until Dec. 18.
