   The colder temperatures are here and that means snow can’t be too far away. Thanksgiving is next week and the day after is the busiest shopping day of the year. I hope everyone rests this week for the rush of next week.

CHURCH NEWS. Glendale Christian Church will host this year’s Glendale Community Thanksgiving service at 6 p.m. Nov. 21.

SCOUTS. The Cub Scouts will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Glendale Christian Church.

LIONS CLUB. South Hardin Lions Club will host a pancake breakfast followed by a holiday bazaar on Saturday at the Upton Community Center. Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and the bazaar opens at 9 a.m. Santa will take pictures during the bazaar from noon-2 p.m. There are still vendor spaces available. All proceeds collected by the Lions Club will go back into the South Hardin community. For information, contact Lion Secretary Autumn O’Neal at 766-8216.
