Wednesday Habitat for Humanity volunteer workers needed (16 years of age and older) to build a house at 9779 Hardinsburg Road, Cecilia, on Route 86, two miles west of Howevalley School (turn off main road, watch for Habitat sign, and follow gravel road about 200 yards to work site. Work call is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. The crew will NOT be working the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Upcoming The Hope Food Pantry, 5-8 p.m. Dec. 16, Hodgenville United Methodist Church fellowship hall, at Lincoln Parkway and Tonieville Road, “offering hope by feeding the people.” The food pantry is designed to provide a 3 to 5 day supply to anyone in the LaRue County community who needs assistance. Each month’s menu is different and includes fresh and frozen items with an average retail value of at least $50. Orders must be placed at a participating church and paid for at the time of the order.
