Romney’s false debate No. 1 victory

First lie: All I’m concerned about is jobs and the middle class.

Second lie: Not raising taxes on middle class.

 Third lie: Not giving the rich a tax cut.

Fourth: Lying about not changing Medicare.

Fifth: Lying about not changing Social Security.

Sixth lie: He cares about the 47 percent

Seventh lie: He is going to create jobs and not ship jobs overseas.

I am going to leave it at that, because you get the point. All Mitt Romney did was lie, lie and lie. What a liar. I think that is his his middle name — no wonder he doesn’t like fact checks.

Some politicians think certain people in society are gullible, forgetful or just plain dumb. He can’t say one thing for 18 months and then go on national television with 50 million viewers and go against everything he said and expect to win the war. He might have won the battle by lying, cheating and putting on a great performance, but what about what he said about the people and promised your constituents: The extreme right?

I have no problem with everyone having different views on issues and policies, because I’m not able to judge within myself. The judgement must come from something outside of me and greater than me. But, to straight-out lie is not good for you, your party, or the country. You have just showed your hand — that you will do, say and try anything to win.

Union interests

I hope my fellow Human Resources Command Civil Service workers are aware if you signed up with the AFGE Union 2302 in November and pay union dues, it can be stopped.

What they won’t tell you is a union member must submit an SF Form 1188 within 30 days before the one year anniversary date (i.e. if you started deduction Dec. 5 2011, submit the stop request 30 days before). If it is stopped even one day after the anniversary date (i.e. Dec. 6 2012) then the person is stuck paying union dues for an additional year without exception. Good information to pass on. I, for one, am stopping my union dues ASAP.
