Homer Lee ‘H.L.’ Chaudoin
Homer Lee “H.L.” Chaudoin, 80, of Hodgenville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008. He was at his home with his wife and family by his side.
Homer was a lifelong resident of LaRue County. A farmer and former employee of Farmers Supply and Seed Company for 21 years, he was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Greenbrier Wagon Club and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L.L. and Ruby Simmons Chaudoin.
Homer was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Lovern Underwood Chaudoin; three daughters, Vickie (Ernie) West and Debbie (Donnie) Pack, all of Hodgenville, and Connie (Billy) Wilson of Magnolia; two sons, Donnie (Ruth) Chaudoin and Ronnie Chaudoin, all of Hodgenville; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, with Brother Mac Trumbo, Brother Mike Rodgers and Brother Norm Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Alfred E. ‘Al’ Vaughn
Alfred E. “Al” Vaughn, 76, of Louisville, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Baptist Hospital East.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Brown Meadows Vaughn; and two sons, Michael Vaughn and Henry Vaughn.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, Jeffersontown, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation is from 1 to 8 p.m. today and continues at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
