Graydon F. ‘Doc’ Gillispie
Graydon F. “Doc” Gillispie, 66, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Hardin County and a member of Youngers Creek Baptist Church. He retired from Crucible Steel and was an avid trap shooter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Jua-nita Ennis Gillispie.
He is survived by his wife, Paddy Peters Gillispie; one son, Chad Gillispie of Elizabethtown; and three grandchildren, Drake, Connor and Gage Gillispie.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Donald Wayne Grimes
Donald Wayne Grimes, 47, of Cecilia, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was a construction worker for Trico Construction. He was a member of Stephensburg Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice P. Jent Grimes; and one brother, Paul Grimes Jr.
He is survived by his father, Paul Grimes of Cecilia; a daughter, Nancy Alakeshia Grimes of Vine Grove; a son, Donovan Sutton of Bowling Green; a sister, Patricia Ba-sham of Irvington; two brothers, Kenneth Grimes of Cecilia and Gary Grimes of Lebanon, Tenn.; his grandmother, Donna Pauline Grimes of Cecilia; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Elbert Peters officiating. Burial will be at the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 30, 2008, or from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

Jack Meredith, 72, of Jonesville, formerly of Hodgen-ville, died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at his residence.
Cremation was chosen.

Catherine Hutton Montgomery
Catherine Hutton Montgomery, 95, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at Helmwood Health Care.
She was born in Anderson County on Oct. 29, 1912 to Harvey and Mary Jane (Molly) Hughes Hutton. She was the widow of Dillon Montgomery.
She was a member of SVBC and Harmony Sunday School class. She worked for American and Efird Thread Mills in Lawrenceburg and Mount Holly, N.C. for 46 years.
In addition to her parents and husband she was pre-ceded in death by three sisters, Bertha Medley, Elizabeth Reed and Jane Perry; three brothers, Theodore, Fred and Guy Hutton; and her son-in-law, Noel Trent.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Trent of Eliza-bethtown; two grandchildren, Darrell Trent and Amanda of Louisville and Cheri Howell and Tim of Los Angeles, Calif.; two great-grandsons, Adam and David Trent; her sister, Lucille Mitchell of Lexington; and 10 nieces and one nephew.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Roger McCurry officiating. Burial will follow at Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 11 a.m. Saturday.

Irene Foster Willman, 77, of Radcliff, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Willman; and her parents, John and Elizabeth Eason Thompson.
Survivors include three daughters, Glenda Velez of Radcliff, Linda Burk of Elizabethtown and Betty Morales of Florida; four sons, James Burk of Florida, Donald Burk of Shelbyville, Steve Willman of Louisville and Mike Willman of Florida; a brother, Charles Thompson of Florida; 12 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen.
