Gov. Mitt Romney supports cutting Social Security and Medicare to reduce the country’s debt. This puts the burden on the elderly and is morally wrong. Our seniors need these programs to live decent lives and they contributed from their paychecks all their working lives. Yet, you heard it during the debates, he won’t touch the tax cuts for the top 2 percent super rich, which would supply hundreds of millions to our country’s treasury and could help reduce the debt.
