James Donald ‘Don’ Corbett

James Donald “Don” Corbett, 65, of Jeffersonville, Ind., died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Elizabethtown on Dec. 15, 1942. He owned and was retired from Corbett C.P.A. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan and was a member of New Chapel United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Corbett; and his parents, James H. and Nora Bostic Corbett.He is survived by his wife, Paula Lemmon Corbett of Jeffersonville; a son, Grant Corbett and his fiancé, Ruth Hanson, of Jeffersonville; a grandson, Jacob Tyler Corbett of Jeffersonville; and two aunts, Estelle Clark and Jane Clausen, both of Bonnieville.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at New Chapel United Methodist Church with burial in New Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel in Jeffersonville and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Travis Wayne Cruse

Travis Wayne Cruse, 27, of Hodgenville, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

Arrangements are incomplete at Bennett-Bertram Fu-neral Home in Hodgenville.

Bill ‘M.C.’ Dishmon

Bill “M.C.” Dishmon, 67, of Hamilton, Ohio. passed away Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008, at Hospice of Hamilton.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Dellene Dishmon; two sons, Christopher Dishmon and Brian Dishmon; and a daughter, Valeria Broadnax.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, with buria in Rose Hill Burial Park.

Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.   Paulette Pearl Louallen Sandlin Harris

Paulette Pearl Louallen Sandlin Harris, 65, of Radcliff, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.

Arrangements are incomplete at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff.   Ronald Esmer Johnson Ronald Esmer Johnson, 69, of Vine Grove, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at Helmwood Healthcare Center in Elizabethtown.

Mr. Johnson was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He had been a member of Big Spring Masonic Lodge since Aug. 18, 1973, and he was a member of Big Spring Baptist Church in Big Spring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cora Pearl Prather and Paul Jones Johnson; and two brothers, Walter Jones Johnson and Lloyd Randall Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Johnson of Vine Grove; two sons, Paul Johnson (Jamie) of Ekron and Mike Johnson (Donna) of Flaherty; one daughter, Kim Bowen (Steve) of Ekron; one brother, Ray Darrel Johnson of Louisville; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Lavon and Jerry O’Dell.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at Buck Grove Baptist Church in Ekron with Brother Dave Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Big Spring Baptist Church Cemetery in Big Spring with military honors.

Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Thursday at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove. There will be a Masonic service at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
