The Optimist Club of Radcliff held its annual youth recognition ceremony Nov. 14 at Colvin Community Center to recognize students chosen by their principals, counselors or teachers for their efforts in arts, athletics, academics and/or community service work. The students recognized this year were Nicholas Kabalen and Rosemarie Lambert of Radcliff Elementary; Aysia Williams and Arissa Peters of Woodland Elementary; Shelby Beavers and Nolan Haukap of Meadow View Elementary; Madison Parker and Alexis Witherspoon of New Highland Elementary; Caroline Vowels and Thomas Webb of Vine Grove Elementary; Emily DeRosa and Isaiah Bankhead of North Middle; Hannah Lowman and Ben Wilkins of J. T. Alton; Sara Collins and Sam Herringshaw of Bluegrass Middle; Jonathan Berry and Owen Grimsley of FAITH home school; Carlos Jones and Missy Schneider of North Hardin Christian; Allie Dennis and Chaffin Blair of North Hardin High School; and Bonetta Wright-Sweet and Michael Kimble of John Hardin High School. Awards were presented by Jackie Banks, Optimist Club of Radcliff president, and Anthony Conder, Optimist Club of Radcliff president-elect as well of master of ceremony.
