ELIZABETHTOWN — Louisville Prairie Village manager Kelly Wilkins wanted a hit to end the game against Pleasant Prairie (Wis.) on Monday.
It’s safe to say Wilkins is happy with how the game ended at Sonny Chaput Field.
Koty Groah scored the game-winning run on a dropped third strike, lifting Prairie Village to a 6-5 win in seven innings over Pleasant Prairie in the loser’s bracket semifinals of the Cal Ripken Ohio Valley Regional Tournament.
