Dennis Ogbe, multi-time para-olympic gold medalist, will be speaking to the Hardin County community on February 7th at 6:30pm. He will tell his motivating and awe-inspiring story of how he contracted malaria at the age of 12. Then, due to poor medical treatment in his home African country, slipped into a coma and contracted polio. The polio left him paralyzed from the waste down. However, he overcame adversity to win 15 gold medals at para-olympic track and field events and the Athlete of the Year Award. Please join the Rotaract Club in honoring this inspiring man by joining us Tuesday evening.
