Parade route set for Pentagon fire truck

-A A +A

Convoy will circle U.S. 31W through E'town and Radcliff

By Marty Finley

Organizers have firmed up the parade route for the Sept. 10 coronation of Foam 161, the damaged fire truck that responded to an attack on the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001. The truck later will be put on display inside the General George Patton Museum of Leadership.

Joining the event are three firefighters who responded to the crash aboard the truck: Alan Wallace, Dennis Young and Mark Skipper.

The men are scheduled to arrive in the area on Sept. 9, taking part in a dinner with local firefighters in Stephensburg.
