Paranormal Boot Camp, investigations offered in downtown Elizabethtown

Paranormal Boot Camp and investigations of reputedly haunted spots will be offered Saturday.

The event, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Riasok Shrine Club at 112 W. Poplar St. in Elizabethtown, will be followed by hosted ghost hunts.

HardinCounty paranormal investigators Stan Howard, co-founder of Paranormal Activity Search Team of Kentucky (P.A.S.T. of Ky.), and Blane Willcut, P.A.S.T. of Ky. member, are part of a panel of investigators who will conduct classes on a wide range of related subjects.

Howard and Willcut will be joined by Paul Browning of Scientific Paranormal Investigative Research Information and Technology (S.P.I.R.I.T.), Chad McKenzie of Kentucky Paranormal Investigators (K.P.I.) and Wes Forsythe of www.ihuntghosts.com.

Paranormal investigations at reputedly haunted downtown Elizabethtown locations follow the boot camp. The Hardin County History Museum, which was featured on Syfy Channel’s “Haunted Collector;” Riasok Shrine Club, the former Severn’s Valley Baptist Church; The Historic Brown-Pusey House; and the Sugar Fashion Cakes building will be available for investigation.

Tickets cost $15 for boot camp only, $20 for investigations only or $30 for a combo package.

All proceeds go to charity.
