Parents Welcome Cole Alexander

Samantha and Jason Vertrees of Elizabethtown announce the birth of a son, Cole Alexander Vertrees on Oct. 26, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Phyllis Brown and Allen Pence, both of Elizabethtown; and paternal grandparents Marlene Vertrees of Elizabethtown and the late Dale Vertrees.

Great-grandparents are Virginia Reynolds, Christine Vertrees and Nora Higdon and the late Oris and Merl Reynolds, the late Charlie Pence, the late Wilbur Vertrees and the late Louis Higdon.
