The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet intends to continue work this year on the extension of Ring Road with an interchange at the Western Kentucky Parkway.
Officials also said the extension of Ring Road from the parkway to Interstate 65 remains in the initial design phases.
“We are currently looking to justify a new interchange with the Federal Highway Administration,” said John Moore, project development branch manager for the KYTC District 4 office in Elizabethtown.
