Pedestrian dies from injuries

A 15-year-old male from Elizabethtown has died from injuries suffered Monday afternoon when he was struck by a vehicle.

Elizabethtown Police say Tristan Clark died this morning at University Hospital in Louisville.

EPD responded at 3:53 p.m. on Monday to the area of North Miles Street and Beech Street in reference to a collision involving a pedestrian. The preliminary report indicates that Clark was walking southbound along Beech Street approaching North Miles Street.
A juvenile female, 17, was driving a 2001 Nissan Maxima westbound on North Miles Street approaching Beech Street. As Clark crossed North Miles Street he was struck by the Nissan.

Clark was transported to HMH and then Stat flighted to University Louisville Hospital. 
The investigation continues.
