NELSON COUNTY — A Clarksville, Tenn., woman was seriously injured Saturday when she was struck by a vehicle on the Blue Grass Parkway, state police said.
Tonya Watkins, 27, was near a car stopped on the shoulder of the parkway when another car rear-ended a third vehicle, spun off and pinned Watkins against a guardrail.
It happened just before 6 p.m. in the westbound lane at the 39.2 mile marker in Nelson County.
