Phi Beta Lambda PBL members serve those in need

Members of Phi Beta Lamda PBL at Elizabethtown Community & Technical College recently prepared bags of fresh fruit and distributed more than 60 bags to patrons at Warm Blessings Soup Kitchen. The organization also held a food drive for Warm Blessings. Pictured receiving the donation is Joan Dale, left, one of the program’s dining room coordinators, along with members from left, Revel Metzger, Teresa Haynes, Karen Meade, Maria Cohoe, Carolyn Lucas, Jessie Lucas, Phyllis Nalley, Ann Skaggs and Donna Hutchins. This was one of several ECTC food drives to benefit the program. Warm Blessings serves a hot meal at 5:30 p.m. week nights to those needing this assistance and offers showers and the use of the washer and dryer by appointment.
