Philip Morris to hold Grower Appreciation Day

ELIZABETHTOWN — Philip Morris USA will have a 2008 Grower Appreciation Day tonight at the Elizabethtown Receiving Station.

The company will show a video that features a new mechanized stripper and farmers will learn about a new performance scorecard. Also, buyers and graders will talk with growers about quality issues. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the evening.

It will start at 6:30 p.m. at 203 Production Court.
