PHOTO: Stabalizing a support structure

Workers lower a sign Monday from a damaged support structure north of Exit 91 on Interstate 65 over the southbound lanes in Elizabethtown. A wreck Saturday damaged the sign structure causing it to become unstable, according to a report from Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 4. The report noted the structure was temporarily stabilized. Work to remove the sign reduced traffic to one lane. Temporary signs will be put in place along the right-of-way until the permanent signs can be reinstalled, according to the cabinet report.
