Flags line the sidewalk and yellow ribbon-wrapped trees await Sgt. 1st Class Samuel Adams' return home for leave from deployment to Afghanistan with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, on Saturday in Radcliff. He was expected to arrive anywhere from Saturday evening to Monday. He will be home for two weeks, his wife, Catherine Adams said. She said he'll be home there for the first birthday of their second son, Levi. Levi was 5 months old when his father left and is now walking and running. Their oldest son, Derek, is 7. Along with the flags, Adams says she keeps a light in a window until her husband comes home. She said her father started the tradition when she was in the Army and deployed.
